Part 3: Runways to Racks – Fall 2021 Bridal Trends

Welcome back! You have hit our last part of Runways to Racks. To refresh your memory, we have talked about details first and then overall trends secondly. For our last part, we will explore the most popular bridal themes that combine the first two parts of our blog! Continue reading for more.

To wrap up our series, let’s take on this season’s most fashionable bridal themes.

MAXIMALIST ESCAPISM

After a year of minimalistic looks, fall 2021 brides are escaping with unique styles to match their fairy-tale and/or destination weddings. An ideal dress style that rises to the occasion are ballgowns! Big, white ballgowns are the ultimate showstoppers that can only be worn for one special event – your wedding day.

Ready for a little more fairytale? 3D florals have been an ultimate favorite for brides yearning for a fairytale, destination wedding. Our premier designer Lis Simon has a variety of options with 3D florals, but we have chosen two of our most popular picks! Our first is Maya, an off the shoulder fit and flare gown adorned with 3D floral appliques.

Our next Lis Simon favorite features romantic floral 3D lace on an A-line skirt with illusion mesh under the arms of the bodice, perfect for a getaway themed wedding!

BRIDGERTON & MODERN TAKE ON 90S NOSTALGIA

Ever since Netflix’s hit series “Bridgerton” aired, our brides have been obsessed with that scoop neckline! Also popular – the 90s nostalgia with a modern take on old fashion elements which include, but are not limited to: long airy sleeves, romantic lace, and squared necklines. Square necklines have been a hit since they flatter our bride’s collarbones & shoulders. Look at what the runway has to offer us!

First on our “Bridgeton” inspo racks is the timeless Eddy K gown, “Grace”, with beaded lace and pearl buttons along the train. She is a crepe beauty with airy, long sleeve floral lace and a scoop neck to match!

Another dress that reminds us of Bridgerton is “Rosebay” by Willowby as she emphasizes that empire waistline. She is a stunning floral embroidered beauty with a touch of delicate chiffon and long, dramatic sleeves to compliment the fit and flare skirt.

Next on our modern 90s list is the Lillian West A-line, square neckline beauty embodying an allover leaf motif embroidery. She has a scoop back with a horsehair hem to compliment.
